What is PBIS?

Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) is a way to promote behavior expectations by teaching desired behaviors in order to prevent less desired behaviors. Therefore you can expect:

• Pirate Pride expectations to be taught to your child in every setting of the school building.
• Common language used throughout the building to help promote positive behavior.
• Rewards and recognition of positive behavior in the classroom and school-wide.
